Happily Ever After…Forever?

Since the latest events, things have most certainly changed! To start, my sister and brother-in-law purchased an estate close to Pemberly; we see each other quite frequently.   Kitty often has been visiting us; she has also been maturing quite rapidly.  Lydia and Wickham continue to remain wed, often asking for money in which they will not receive.  As for Lady Catherine, she has come to terms with our marriage, but I am sure does not fully approve of it.  It is amazing to think that my aunt and uncle are responsible for bringing Darcy and I together. If it were not for them, I am uncertain as to what the present would be like.  I can only look forward to the future and dream of what adventures the future will behold!

Mutual Agreement

At last I have finally found happiness! Mr.Darcy and I were finally able to express our true feelings for one another and we are now engaged! It is amazing to have finally settled any misconceptions and confusions between us… I have discovered the man that Mr.Darcy really is.  The only difficulty I have undergone is the struggle to convince my sister and father of my genuine admiration for Mr.Darcy. After once expressing my hatred towards my now fiancĂ©, it is understandable that my family would be surprised… I appreciate their concern regarding the confirmation of my happiness, but they must believe that I love Mr.Darcy for the man he truly is and not for his wealth. Overall, my family is thrilled to now have two sisters that are soon to be brides!

How Dare She!

Lady Catherine had the audacity to arrive upon my doorstep to insist my promise to not marry Mr.Darcy! She claimed that she heard rumors of our possible engagement and was obviously infuriated. Lady Catherine believes I am completely inferior to Mr.Darcy. I am well aware that our life styles are most certainly different; however, that should not prevent two people from falling in love! Love has nothing to do with wealth and connections… it has to do with the people themselves! Actually, it is quite humorous that Lady Catherine is attempting to fight her nephew’s nonexistent battle. She is sadly mistaken if she truly believes Mr.Darcy wishes to marry her sickly creature of a daughter! This whole ordeal has been quite upsetting; however, I shall keep this debacle under wraps as to not create any more tension for my family.

Love at Last

I am ecstatic to announce that my dear sister is finally engaged to the one and only Mr.Bingley! After dinner the two found themselves alone together when Mr. Bingley asked her for her hand. I am so happy for Jane! To think she was at one time so heartbroken and hysterical over the man whom she was actually destined for!  Love works in strange ways I suppose.  Jane also mentioned that Mr.Bingley’s avoidance of her was purely accidental; he in fact had no clue she was in town.  All in all, I am quite relieved for Jane that the whole misunderstanding has been put to rest.
